We are diving deep into the soul of Little Amps today with a roast that’s basically a legend in its own right: Ethiopia Dark Star. This isn't just a nostalgic nod to their roots; it’s a masterclass in how a "darker" profile can still showcase incredible terroir. By focusing strictly on Natural process lots from Guji, specifically the high-performance 74110 and 74112 cultivars, they’ve managed to create something that feels like a warm hug but hits with the complexity of a world-class single origin. Because these cherries were harvested at a staggering 2,300 masl, the density is through the roof, allowing the roasters to push the development further without losing that vibrant, intrinsic Ethiopian character.
